The difference
The Sartoriali No. 4 is a shirt that radiates warmth and lightness at the same time. The rich yellow recalls sunny afternoons, the first blossoms in spring – full of energy, without being loud. A delicate floral pattern in white lines runs across the fabric, reminiscent of delicate sketches from a botanical diary.
The floral print is elegant and minimalist at the same time – a subtle homage to the beauty of nature. Made from fine, smooth cotton, the shirt feels pleasantly light on the skin and effortlessly accompanies you through warm days and mild evenings.
The cut is clear and modern: slim fit with a touch of casualness that allows room for movement without sacrificing elegance.
The Sartoriali No. 4 is for men who wear color with understatement and have an eye for detail.

01 The collar
The collars of my shirts are characterized by clean seams. Unlike glued interlinings, the interlinings are sewn and have little to no lining. This gives the collar a more natural and relaxed appearance. My signature "soft collar" is durable enough for everyday wear and creates a stylish look that is effortlessly elegant.
02 The gusset
A sophisticated detail found only in exquisite shirts. This special element ensures that the hem edge doesn't tear and gives the shirt additional stability and durability.
The use of a gusset increases the shirt's durability and ensures a sophisticated look. This fine detail demonstrates the attention to craftsmanship and high quality of workmanship.
03 The Buttons
The buttons on my shirts are painstakingly sewn by hand without a machine using the so-called "Zhampa di Gallina" (houndstooth) technique to create a robust and secure button. These additional steps ensure that the buttons will remain durable even in everyday use, even after repeated wear and washing.
All the buttons I use are made of pure Australian mother-of-pearl. These precious materials not only give the shirts a luxurious look but also guarantee the highest quality and durability.
04 The buttonholes
The buttonholes on my shirts are still sewn traditionally with a high density of at least 170 stitches. This elaborate craftsmanship ensures that the buttonholes remain firm and stable, preventing them from gaping.
Through careful work by experienced hands and the high number of stitches, each buttonhole becomes a small work of art that is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
05 The Seam
The shirts are produced using the exclusive single-needle stitch technique, also known as the English seam. This technique uses an impressive 10 stitches per centimeter to prevent wrinkling and give the shirt a sophisticated look.
You'll never find double-stitched or overlocked seams in my shirts. Instead, I rely on the traditional craftsmanship of single-needle stitching to ensure the highest quality and flawless workmanship.
06 Offset seams
The shirts are designed with offset, asymmetrical seams to ensure the optimal angle for unrestricted comfort and freedom of movement. This sophisticated technique requires a high level of craftsmanship that few tailors can master. However, it's a standard procedure in Italy's renowned factories.
07 The sleeves
Both sleeves are hand-stitched. This is only found on my slim fit shirts. The super slim fit shirts have a handmade collar band.
08 The collar stays
The collar stays on all my shirts are removable, allowing for a personalized collar adjustment. A special highlight is that each shirt comes with a pair of high-quality collar stays made of sustainable stainless steel. These elegant stays are not only of high quality but also environmentally friendly and completely plastic-free.
Naples on the skin
In Naples, I found what I was looking for: authentic craftsmanship that doesn't have to be loud to be touching. In a small workshop, I saw shirts being sewn with calm, precision, and pride—not for the runway, but for life.
This experience has shaped me. Today, my shirts are created right there—from Italian fabrics, in small batches, with at least one artisanal step. They are my homage to a lifestyle: casual, but never sloppy. Timeless, honest, full of character.

From the search for substance
After returning to Europe, I knew I wanted to make fashion. But not just any fashion—clothing that feels right . Clothing that is worn, not just sold. And that is created with the same care I had experienced in Peru.
I followed my concept of only making clothing where the craft is passed down from generation to generation. So for shirts, trousers and suits there is only one address for me. My path led me to Italy - more precisely to Lake Como , where I found small weaving mills that fascinated me immediately. No mass production, no synthetic materials. Instead: the finest Super 100/130 or Super 200 virgin wool , rolls of fabric with soul, textiles with character. Two-ply yarn fresh from Italy. Here we create fabrics that you not only see, but feel - with a feel , a depth and a calmness that I have rarely experienced.

But the heart of my work beats further south – in Naples . In this city, where tailoring is part of everyday life, I found what I was looking for: small studios where shirts and trousers aren't produced, but created . Where no seam is left to chance, where a collar isn't simply sewn but rolled , where real mother-of-pearl buttons are attached by hand using the Zhampa di Gallina stitch, every cut is done by hand, and every seam, every stitch, is carefully considered. A studio where true craftsmanship is a matter of course.
This is where my shirt collection is created. I work closely with experienced craftsmen whose knowledge isn't found in books. From cutting to the final buttonhole stitch – every detail is meaningful . Nothing is overdone. Nothing is done without a reason.
I'm still in direct contact with the seamstresses here. It's a small detail that I attach great importance to and that brings me joy every time I tell my customers about it.

For my printed shirts, I use a 50/1 popline cotton fabric fresh from Lake Como. Unprinted fabrics come from the renowned Italian weaving mill Grandi & Rubinelli. You'll always find this information in the shirt product description. Depending on the season, I use seersucker, popline, pinpoint, twill, Oxford, fil a fil, or herringbone, and of course, linen.
All my shirts are made from natural materials. I don't use synthetics in any collection. However, you can certainly shop for lightweight fabrics like linen in the summer.
